"A Life Changing Poverty Simulation Experience"

The Scriptures are clear: God cares for the poor and marginalized and has called us to be involved with them--to bring them the good news of Jesus Christ.  Unfortunately, much of our discipleship has ignored this important comand.

This one day, unique poverty simulation is designed to help educate participants about the realities of our world in need, God's heart for the poor and how we can better live out God's call for us to connect with the poor.  The experience will stretch participants outside their "comfort zones" to face their own materialism, cultural values and need to refocus on biblical mandates.

Our hope is that participants will leave this experience with "new eyes and ears" for the needs of the poor in their own community, our nation and thew orld.
